Honorable Leadership

If you're like most organizations, your PMs are probalby certified by either PMI or Prince2, yet this is just 1/3 of what a good project manager needs. The other two-thirds consist of Soft Skills and Tools/Techniques. If you have project management processes in place, yet your projects are not where they need to be, odds are your project managers need coaching.

To accomplish this you have three choices:

1. Use an in-house mentoring program
2. Have them do it themselves
3. Acquire the assisatnce of a coach that specializes in project management

If you have an in-house mentoring program... great. If your PMs are self-motivated inidividuals who have the time and energy to do it themselves... awesome.
